SA Region meetings are held at the Police Historical Society (Thebarton Barracks) Port Road, Thebarton, on the second Thursday of each month at 7.00 pm (Note – No meeting in January).

A.G.M September 14th, 7p.m. at Police Historical Society

The A.G.M. was held last Thursday and new Committee members were elected. The Chairman, Manfred Wojtasik stood down after 8 years and Andrew Bowe was elected as the new Chairman, with Tarina Cooper elected as the Secretary.

During the meeting Assistant Commissioner Noel Bamford, acting on behalf of the Commissioner, presented 20, 30, 40 and 50 year Badges and certificates.

The 2017 Border Incident Friday 24 November – Sunday 26 November

The 2016 Border Incident was held in Robe in November and the Border Incident Baton was handed over to Victoria to host the 2017 event.

The Victoria team have got on to the task early and are please to confirm that the 2017 Border Incident will be held in Hamilton VIC, Friday 24 November – Sunday 26 November 2017.

Accommodation has been arranged at The Lake Hamilton Motor Village & Caravan Park where 12 ensuite cabins, 4 ensuite sites & 8 powered sites have been set aside.

These cabins and sites will be held for IPA up until 29/9/2017, being 8 weeks prior to arrival date. Bookings for any remaining available sites or cabins can still be made after this date by members wishing to attend dependant on availability.

The park has offered a group discount of 10% to all IPA members for stay of 2 nights (no other discounts/offers applicable).

Individual members can phone to reserve their preferred cabin/site and make arrangement to pay 1 nights deposit via credit card (visa or m/card) or EFT to secure the reservation.

Individual booking cancellations deposits are refundable up to 14 days prior to arrival. Full Group booking cancellation deposit refundable up to 29/9/2017.
